Pulsatilla: Styes, especially on upper lids.
Staphisagria: An excellent remedy for styes which is normally given when Pulsatilla fails. In my experience I have found this remedy effective in all cases of styes whether chronic or otherwise or whether on lower or upper lids. Recurrent styes. Scurfy margins of the lids.
Hepar Sulphur: When there is a tendency for recurrence and when Staphisagria fails.
Alumina Silicate: Styes with swollen lids; redness of eyes: soreness and pain as from sand in the eyes.
